CYA U19s ANNOUNCES A UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY The Chicago Young American U19 Hockey Club is adding a new dimension to the way elite players will be trained to master the 5 major skills and then apply them to better game play. Head Coach, Randy Jordan, will co-coach with an impressive group of on ice specialists that will encourage more indiviual skill focus and development than what is normally available in a team environment. In addition, these coaches will bring team system expertise that will allow for a very thorough education and understanding as to how the game is best played, in all 3 zones, with and without the puck. You will become a much better overall player because of such great focus on you and your needs. The very successful Sumo System of skating efficiency, overspeed training, video and tangible goal setting (through combines) will give all players benchmarks in which to continuously be rewarded for your hard work. This team will pride itself on being a leader in giving our members every opportunity to continue their playing career in college. An aggressive approach will give great exposure to those dedicated to the cause. We WANT you to excel and succeed today and in the future! Only players that are passionate about maximizing their potential to best enjoy playing in the future need apply. The curriculm will be demanding, with high expectations on and off the ice, all the while being a very enjoyable working environment for players and coaches.
